TWS (True Wireless Earphones)

Each TWS earphone set needs to be equipped with 2 to 4 proximity sensors. The main function is to detect if the earphone is in-ear to control the power consumption when not in use.

Eminent MN15215 is designed for TWS specifications. Small size 2 x 1 x 0.5 mm, average operating current less than 30 uA.

AR (Augmented Reality)/VR (Virtual Reality)

  • ­The helmet is equipped with a proximity sensor to detect whether the headset is worn to control the power consumption during non-use time.
  • The brightness of the AR display needs to be adjusted according to the ambient light. The brightness of the display needs to be increased in the bright light. In low light, it is necessary to avoid the display being too bright causing eye injury. Eminent Ambient Light Sensor detects ambient light down to 0.001 Lux.
  • ­ The AR/VR headsets are often equipped with a gesture sensor, which can detect the direction of hand waving. With voice input, it can be used as the human-machine interface of the headset.
